Wichita State University Athletics
Wichita State University is an NCAA Division I school, with baseball, basketball, cross-country, golf, tennis, and track & field for men and basketball, cross-country, golf, softball, tennis, track & field, and volleyball for women. The team nickname is the Shockers. WSU plays in the Missouri Valley Conference.
Sports facilities include a stadium, a tennis complex, a baseball stadium, an arena, and a softball facility.

The Wichita State Shockers compete in the Missouri Valley Conference, Division I of the NCAA in the sports of baseball, softball, volleyball, basketball, cross country, track, golf, crew, and bowling. The most renowned teams are men’s and women’s bowling, which have both won national championships, the most recent being the men’s championship in 2003. Athletic facilities include Cessna Stadium, Eck Stadium, the Coleman Tennis Complex, Charles Koch Arena, and the C. Howard Wilkins Softball Facility.
